A small law firm is looking for a in house accountant along with managing the office.

Accounting/bookkeeper duties include:

✔ Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
✔ Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
✔ Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
✔ Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
✔ Maintains historical records by filing documents.
✔ Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
✔ Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements;
filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
✔ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
✔ Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other
✔ Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

Bookkeeper/Accountant Qualifications:

Developing Standards, Analyzing Information , Dealing with Complexity, Reporting Research Results, Data Entry Skills, Accounting, SFAS Rules, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Quickbooks

Required experience:
✔ 5 years of management and accounting
✔ Preferred to be bilingual--- Spanish
✔ CPA license is preferred

Office Manager duties would include the following:
✔ Serve as the point person for office manager duties including:
✔ Maintenance, Mailing, Supplies, Equipment, Bills
✔ Schedule meetings and appointments
✔ Organize the office layout and order stationery and equipment
✔ Organize office operations and procedures
✔ Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time
✔ Provide general support to visitors
✔ Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
